The XLAB from Stenon and AGXTEND™, is the revolutionary way to analyze soil. By means of a single step, a comprehensive soil sample analysis can be created and evaluated in the field within a few seconds. Via the app, the user then receives all data as well as recommendations for fertilization, which can also be used directly in the fertilizer spreader.

XLab offers the farmer the unique opportunity to collect soil samples directly before the application of the fertilizer and during the cultivation phase, which means a significant increase in efficiency from an economic and ecological point of view. Sub-area-specific fertilizer spreading thus takes on a whole new meaning. In combination with high-performance fertilizer application technology, it is now possible to apply exactly the quantity of fertilizer that the crops need to increase biomass optimally. This effectively prevents overfertilization, as fertilization is only applied where it is necessary. This means a direct reduction of fertilizer application. Thanks to XLab, there is no need to transport samples to the laboratory. This not only saves CO2 and fuel and has a positive effect on the environmental balance, but also reduces the time spent by the user. While conventional analysis in the laboratory also consumes constantly large amounts of chemicals or other consumables, XLab is used for resource-conserving measurements and chemical-free analysis. But XLab offers a number of advantages not only in comparison to laboratory analysis. Mobile solutions from other manufacturers offer a significantly smaller sampling scope and often do not have the necessary network coverage. Other solutions also require a comparatively high calibration effort.
